This week, I asked for your favorite burger spots around your community. Here’s what you had to say:
📍Anchor Bar & Grill, Superior
“Delicious burgers, fresh cut fries, 1990’s pricing, and fun vintage maritime decor.” — Rick K.
📍Red Eye Brewing Company, Wausau
“Red Eye brewing Wisconsin Burgers are the BEST!” — Jeffrey T.
📍Al’s Hamburger, Green Bay
“If you have reason to visit Green Bay make a point to dine at Al’s. Since 1934, one of the best burgers in northeast Wisconsin. Maybe the planet for that matter.” — Tom G.
📍Skippy’s Burger Bar, Thiensville
“Good meat, fun options. Killer chili too.” — Russ W.
Next week, I want to hear about
your favorite cocktail bars. Hit reply to have your pick featured.

By USA Today Network via Reuters Connect
About 700,000 Wisconsinites have federal student loans. Starting July 1, they’ll face changes affecting repayment plans and borrowing capacities, among other rules.
Signed in 2025, President Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” capped federal student loan amounts, eliminated Biden-era payment plans, like Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE), and made changes to loan-forgiveness programs.
Here’s what borrowers, new and old, should know about the upcoming changes.
