Here’s your ‘Do Something!’ calendar for July 3-9

A weekly roundup of Wisconsin protests, political events, advocacy opportunities, and ways to take action statewide–Friday, July 3 through Thursday, July 9.

Celebrate the United States’ 250th birthday by taking action in this year’s elections. This week, you can make a difference by joining volunteer teams and reaching voters through phone banking, canvassing, or postcard writing.

Here’s a roundup of upcoming volunteer opportunities and actions across Wisconsin:

Friday (July 3)

Racine Anti-MAGA Social Club: Fourth of July BBQ (Racine, 4-6 p.m.)

Celebrate the holiday weekend with food and refreshments while talking politics.

Saturday (July 4)

Democratic Party of Wisconsin: Community Canvassing (La Crosse, 12-2 p.m.)

Canvass door-to-door to talk with voters ahead of the 2026 elections.

Monday (July 6)

Democratic Party of Wisconsin: Write Postcards to Voters (Oshkosh, 1-4 p.m.)

Get out the vote by writing postcards to voters in Wisconsin. 

Democratic Party of Wisconsin: Phone Bank–Build Our Volunteer Team in Walworth County (Elkhorn, 5-7 p.m.)

Build the volunteer team in Elkhorn by calling volunteers and Democrats to connect them to ways to get involved. 

Swing Left: Call Voters in Wisconsin CD-03 with Ground Truth (Virtual, 5-7 p.m.)

Call voters in the 3rd Congressional District to gather insights that can be shared with the team, so they can better respond to voters’ needs and improve their messaging, targeting, and outreach.

Tuesday (July 7)

Monroe County Democrats: Coffee & Conversation, (Tomah, 12-1 p.m.)

Join the community meeting to learn more about how you can get involved locally.

Democratic Party of Wisconsin: Phone Bank: Build Our Volunteer Team in Kenosha (Kenosha, 5-7 p.m.)

Help expand the volunteer team in Kenosha by calling community members and connecting them with volunteer opportunities.

Chippewa Valley Indivisible: Meeting (Chippewa Falls, 6-7:30 p.m.)

Join the Chippewa Valley Indivisible meeting and meet others in the community working to protect democracy. 

Democratic Party of Wisconsin: Volunteer Orientation with the Brown County Action Teams (Green Bay, 7-8 p.m.)

Attend the volunteer orientation to learn about volunteer opportunities for the 2026 election.

Wednesday (July 8)

Swing Left: Call voters in Wisconsin CD-03 with Ground Truth (Virtual, 5-7 p.m.)

Call voters in the 3rd Congressional District to gather insights that can be shared with the team, so they can better respond to voters’ needs and improve their messaging, targeting, and outreach.

Community Event: Progress for the People Town Hall & Who Pays Bus Tour Stop (Racine, 5:15-8:15)

Hear from members of Congress fighting for working families and learn how Republican policies are hurting Wisconsinites.

Join a volunteer recruitment phone bank to connect with community members and share information about upcoming events and opportunities with the Wisconsin Democratic Party:
