Wisconsin summer means music festivals galore.
Whether you’re into rock, country, pop, or anything in between, there’s a music festival for you.
From Summerfest to Country Thunder, Wisconsinites can find their perfect match for live music this summer.
Here’s some of the Wisconsin music festivals to mark on your calendar:
Summerfest, Milwaukee
Known as “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” this event takes place at Henry Maier Festival Park for three consecutive weekends–June 18–20, June 25–27, and July 2–4, 2026.
Notable headliners for the 2026 festival include Don Toliver, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, and Jelly Roll.

Blue Ox Music Festival, Eau Claire
This festival, known as the “Soul Sanctuary,” takes place from June 25-27 and features bluegrass, Americana, and folk artists.
Just a few of the artists performing at the festival include Pert Near Sandstone, Charley Crockett, and Marcus King Band.
Aside from the music, the festival also features art displays, music workshops, guided off-site river trips, and more.
Hodag Country Festival, Rhinelander
Now in its 48th year, this Northwoods festival takes place from July 9-12. Attendees (aka Hodagers) can camp at the grounds and participate in pavilion activities, like a karaoke contest and various bands.
Artists you can expect to see at the festival include Russell Dickerson, Brothers Osborne, and Old Dominion.
Country Thunder, Twin Lakes
Country music lovers unite at this country music festival, which takes place from July 16-19 and includes camping options.
Notable headliners include Keith Urban, Gavin Adcock, The Red Clay Strays, Riley Green, and many more.
Rock Fest, Cadott
Known as the largest rock music and camping event in the US, this festival takes place from July 16-18.
The event will feature more than 80 bands across five stages, and attendees can camp at one of the ground’s 7,500 camp sites.
Headliners include Gojira, Limp Bizkit, and The Offspring.
Eaux Claires, Eau Claire
After an eight year hiatus, Eau Claire native Justin Vernon’s (aka Bon Iver) music festival returns to Wisconsin from July 24-25.
The festival will take place at Carson Park, with multiple stages for live music, performance and visual art, and more.
Some of the artists to expect include Daniel Ceasar, Dijon, and Bizhiki.
Mile of Music, Appleton
This unique festival takes place downtown Appleton from July 30 – Aug. 2 and hosts 200 artists at 35 venues across a mile of College Avenue.
The event is community-focused, with free admission. Artist genres include folk, rock, blues, and more.

XRoads41, Oshkosh
Running from Aug. 6-8, this features many country artists and related sub-genres. In addition to live music, attendees can camp at the grounds, and shop from various vendors.
Notable headliners include Zac Brown Band, Wiz Khalifa, Lainey Wilson, and Flatline Cavalry.
On Aug. 9, the festival will also host a one-day event, XRoads41 Hard Drive, a “Rock Detour.” The lineup will be announced on April 13.
