Most of Wisconsin’s top Democrats gathered in La Crosse last night for a campaign corn roast while Republican US Rep. Derrick Van Orden dined at the White House Rose Garden. His Democratic opponent Rebecca Cooke made sure people knew which candidate was making appearances inside the 3rd Congressional District and working for constituents rather than an unpopular president.
