An evening of conversations about the Wisconsin Supreme Court election
We’re having our first live event!
We know the importance of the April 1 election for Wisconsin Supreme Court. That’s why we want to give you an opportunity to hear from people who can speak to some of the critical issues the court could take up—depending on whether progressives hold onto control or if conservatives take back the majority.
Join us at the Overture Center in Madison on March 12 for a series of panels with great insight into the stakes of the race. It will be followed by a watch party for the televised debate between the candidates for justice: Dane Co. Judge Susan Crawford and Waukesha Co. Judge Brad Schimel.
State Sen. Kelda Roys, and Reps. Francesca Hong, Supreme Moore Omokunde, and Christian Phelps are part of three discussion panels on how the court could impact the economy and our natural resources, reproductive health rights, and education in Wisconsin. Panel moderators are UpNorthNews founding editor Pat Kreitlow, Dan Shafer of The Recombobulation Area and Civic Media host Todd Allbaugh.
Admission is free, CLICK HERE to register.

Thank you for taking the time to read our work. Before you go, we hope you'll consider supporting our values-driven journalism, which has always strived to make clear what's really at stake for Wisconsinites and our future.
Since day one, our goal here at UpNorthNews has always been to empower people across the state with fact-based news and information. We believe that when people are armed with knowledge about what's happening in their local, state, and federal governments—including who is working on their behalf and who is actively trying to block efforts aimed at improving the daily lives of Wisconsin families—they will be inspired to become civically engaged.
