Ellie here. We’ve been talking about it a lot recently, but we’re officially less than a week away from Wisconsin’s primary election.
On Aug. 11, Wisconsin voters will determine who will be the Democratic candidate for governor against the presumptive Republican candidate, Tom Tiffany.
Early in-person and absentee voting is already underway, with some polling places remaining open until Aug. 9. Be sure to check with your municipal clerk to see exact hours for your polling place.
On Aug. 11, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.. As long as you’re in line by 8 p.m., you can still vote. If you haven’t registered to vote yet, you can do so at your polling place on election day.
And, employers are legally required to allow you three hours to go vote during the work day. Make sure you have a plan to cast your vote!
