Originally from northern Wisconsin, Aliya Rahman who now lives in Minneapolis, was on her way to a doctor's appointment when she was pulled from her car by ICE agents in January in Minneapolis.

Rahman testified at a public formum, hosted by Democratic leaders, about federal agents' use of force in the president's immigration crackdown. No Republican members of Congress showed up to hear the testimony, which also featured the brothers of Renee Good.
