It’s Official: Kwik Trip Voted America’s #1 Gas Station

The La Crosse-based brand beat out Buc-ee’s, QuikTrip with a Q, and other Midwestern favorites, Casey’s and Hy-Vee, to come out on top of the 2025 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice poll!

While Kwik Trip has been voted the #1 gas company every year since 2020, this is the first time they’ve ALSO won best food.

“Their bakeries make more than two dozen types of items each day; their convenience store offers burritos, pizza, salads, soups, and fried chicken, all of which are fairly priced and made with high-quality ingredients; and all milk is sourced from dairy farms within a 100-mile radius of La Crosse!” USA Today wrote.

Kwik Trip, a family-owned company since 1965, operates more than 800 stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, South Dakota, and Illinois.
