Ellie here. Today’s the day!

It’s officially Wisconsin’s primary election day, and we’ll soon find out who the Democratic gubernatorial candidate will be.

Are you ready to go out and vote? Here are a few reminders before you head to the polls:

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. As long as you’re in line by 8 p.m., you can still vote. If you haven’t registered to vote yet, you can do so at your polling place on election day.

Remember, employers are legally required to allow you three hours to go vote during the work day. Make sure you have a plan to cast your vote!

WI governor poll: Hong still has advantage over Crowley in Democratic primary

Today’s the day to vote in Wisconsin’s primary, and a poll released last week by State Navigate found that Rep. Francesca Hong is maintaining the lead.

The poll of 1,473 likely Democratic primary voters gives Hong 44% support versus 24% for Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley.
