Last week, I asked who you’re cheering for in the World Cup now that team USA is out. The common consensus was split between Norway and Argentina.

While I’m not particularly enthusiastic about any remaining team, I am a fan of Erling Haaland, which makes me more inclined to root for Norway.

I’m not much of a soccer fan in general, but with the US hosting it’s been so fun learning more about the sport. 

The World Cup final will take place this Sunday. If you’re looking for a good place to watch, there are plenty of watch parties to check out. You might even see me there!

Another Monday means another Wisconsin event roundup. Here’s what we’ve got going on in the Badger State this week:

🎵 Music on the Lake, Phelps (July 15)

This free lakeside evening will feature live music from Bogfoot, along with food trucks, a beer tent, and a scenic sunset view along the waterfront.

🎪 Fond du Lac County Fair (July 15-19)

Enjoy five days of family fun with live music, agricultural exhibits, animal experiences, and activities for all ages. There will also be interactive farming education, local food vendors, and additional attractions.

🎢 Waukesha County Fair (July 15-19)

Head over to the oldest county fair in Wisconsin to enjoy livestock exhibits, farm displays, crafts, carnival rides, fair food, and more. This event supports youth education through 4-H.

🐄 Green County Fair, Monroe (July 15-19)

Experience a classic county fair with livestock competitions, auctions, carnival rides, local food favorites, cheese judging, and various special events including a demolition derby and live music.

🌙 Wausau Night Market (July 16)

This downtown street festival features local vendors, food trucks, live music, and handcrafted goods. 

🎤 Country Jam USA, Eau Claire (July 16-18)

Experience three days of live performances from top country music stars along with emerging artists at this exciting annual festival.
