Ellie here. We’re officially counting down the days until the Aug. 11 primary in Wisconsin.

Most importantly, today is the last day to register to vote by mail or online. If you’ve moved recently, be sure to update your address. And even if you haven’t, it’s still good practice to check to make sure you’re registered.

We are also less than one week away from early and in-person absentee voting. While the start date is July 28, the end date for early voting varies by polling locations. Make sure you check and have a plan before heading to the polls.

⏰ Did you know, your employers are legally required to let you go vote? In Wisconsin, you are allowed up to three hours to go vote during the work day. 

🗳 Early voting, or in-person absentee voting starts next week across the state. It starts on July 28, and some locations will remain open until Aug. 7, and others until Aug. 9. If you plan on voting early, make a plan to ensure your polling place is open.
