Friday (March 6)

A resistance protest. 

Milwaukee International Women’s Day Coalition: Milwaukee International Women’s Day Weekend, (Milwaukee, 2-6 p.m.) 
A day of grassroots actions including keynote remarks from assembly representative Francesca Hong, local vendors and an artisan marketplace, resource tables and mutual aid networking, workshops on key feminist issues in your community, know your rights training, poetry and lyrical performances by Milwaukee’s Jonah Denae, complimentary food and refreshments, and activities for all ages.

A rally for democracy.

Milwaukee International Women’s Day Coalition: Rally & March for the People’s Demands, (Milwaukee, 1 p.m.)
Rally and march in Milwaukee in honor of International Women’s Day.

Planned Parenthood: Community Baby Shower, (Madison, 1-4 p.m.)
Attend or volunteer with Planned Parenthood to celebrate new and growing families in the Madison area. The organization will be giving away new and gently used baby supplies. 

SE Wisconsin Indivisible: Weekly Sundays, (West Milwaukee, 2-3:30 p.m.)
