Turns out there’s much more to Oshkosh than its annual summer air show…

Wisconsin’s 9th-biggest city was just named America’s #1 real estate market!

This is the first time Oshkosh has ever earned the title from Realtor.com, which cited its location (90 miles from Milwaukee), size (population 67,000), and median home value ($374,000 — $66,000 less than the national average) as all positives!

Two other Badger State cities also made the Top 20: Janesville (No. 9) and Green Bay (No. 18).

🏅 Top Five Hottest Real Estate Markets of 2024:
(city, average home price)

  1. Oshkosh, Wisconsin — $374,000
  2. Hartford, Connecticut — $444,000
  3. Manchester, New Hampshire — $585,000
  4. Rockford, Illinois — $216,000
  5. Akron, Ohio — $257,000

Here’s the full list.
