Kilah Engelke, a Milwaukee mom and cement mason, highlights the jobs being created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the rest of President Biden’s legislative agenda.

Wisconsin voters are getting their latest reminder that they are coveted like almost nowhere else in the country, as President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign launched  a new ad campaign in the state’s media markets as well as national cable TV.

The new ad—which started running Thursday—is narrated by Kilah Engelke, a Milwaukee mom and cement mason, as video shows her fellow road builders staying busy on Wisconsin projects.

“All the road builders are insanely busy right now,” Engelke said. “If someone comes in wanting or needing a job, we’ve got ‘em.”

Engelke cites how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is creating jobs and raising wages.

“All that’s pretty awesome. To have a president like Joe Biden that’s fighting for good jobs, it’s huge.”

The ad is part of a 16-week, $25 million advertising campaign targeting voters in battleground states to build public recognition of what Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have accomplished in rebuilding the economy after a pandemic-induced recession and post-pandemic inflation.

“Our campaign is continuing to make early and aggressive investments in key states,” said Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign Manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez, “to make sure voters hear directly from trusted voices about how President Biden has delivered for them.”

In an earlier national ad,, Engelke sounded a theme sure to be echoed frequently by the president and his campaign team..

“What President Biden has accomplished is actually helping real people,” she said.

That ad features the cornerstones of Biden’s legislative agenda—the infrastructure law, the Chips and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act—passed in the first two years of his term, when Democrats controlled both the House and the Senate.

“All the things that Biden helped to get passed help the middle class,” Engelke said. “I feel like Joe Biden understands people like me.”
