As the cold subsides, Brewers fans can finally emerge from hibernation.
The Milwaukee Brewers kick off their 2026 regular season on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
Here’s a preview of what to expect on Opening Day:
When and where?
The team plays at 1:10 p.m. at American Family Field. Those planning on attending the game should account for longer travel times, as I-94 construction is ongoing.
Tickets are available online at brewers.com/Tickets or in-person at the AmFam Field Box Office.

What’s new at American Family Field?
It’s been a busy off-season at American Family Field, with many updates for fans this year.
The stadium will feature a variety of new food stands, including Fair Foods, Bebe Zito, and Alley Food Truck Park. The stands offer a variety of unique bites, like a deep-fried kringle, dirty sodas, and chicken ice cream.
Updates have also been made to the right-field playground, and an outdoor plaza will be available this summer, featuring mini-gold, a beer garden, and more.
Additionally, the MLB will debut the Automatic Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system. Teams will be able to challenge ball-strike calls, with an animated replay being shown in real time on the American Family Field videoboard and on the TV broadcast.
