What are the final snow totals from Wisconsin’s March winter storm?

The snow has finally stopped falling, and tallies show the massive March winter storm brought more than 30 inches of snow to parts of Wisconsin.

In central Wisconsin, which was hit hardest, the storm began the evening of Saturday, March 14 and did not relent until the morning of Monday, March 16, according to the National Weather Service.

Southeast Wisconsin saw less snow accumulation, but strong winds and blowing snow still put Milwaukee and other nearby communities under a blizzard warning for most of Monday.

  • Appleton: 27.5 inches
  • Ashwaubenon: 26.1 inches
  • Green Bay: 26.1 inches
  • Neenah: 21 inches
  • Buffalo: 18 inches
  • Oshkosh: 14.5 inches
  • Eau Claire: 10 to 15 inches across the county
  • Fond du Lac: 8 to 12 inches across the county
  • Sheboygan: 6 to 10 inches across the county
  • Madison: 8.1 inches
  • New Berlin: 8 inches
  • Ocomonowac: 7.8 inches
  • La Crosse: 7 inches
  • Raymond: 6 inches
  • Milwaukee: 4.8 inches
  • Racine: 4 inches
  • Kenosha: 3 inches
