Good morning, Wisconsin!

Ellie here. Early voting is officially underway in Wisconsin.

Candidates across the state are making their case to voters on issues that could shape their future. One of the biggest issues being affordability.

A Sept. 30 Marquette Law School poll found that 45% of voters believe inflation and the cost of living to be the most important issue in this year’s election.

In the meantime, the national inflation rate has remained at higher than 3% since March, and Wisconsin’s average gas prices are over $4 per gallon.

But this is just one of the many issues in Wisconsin’s midterm elections. Some of the others include data centers, healthcare, and housing.

I want to hear from you. What issues are a main priority in this election? Let me know your thoughts!
