Ellie here. We’ve talked a lot about card games this week, and I got even more responses about games I should try:

“Surely someone mentioned sheepshead,  the ‘unofficial state card game of Wisconsin.’ I learned it from my in-laws, German farmers from Cadott.” — Peter N.

“We love cribbage, pepper, May-I (aka Shanghai Rummy), golf (similar game called Play Nine), and sheepshead.” — Deb C.

Seems like some of our readers are also avid cards players.

“It has several floral designers who do such amazing work. They do beyond beautiful work. Then the shop has so many interesting things to buy. What ever is popular at the time, you can get there. Right now it is squishes. There are very interesting T shirts, new unusually designed blankets that look hand made and are very colorful. Hand crocheted pieces, funny little toys etc.” — Arlan B.
