We’re back to talking about gas prices in Wisconsin. As of Sept. 17, the state average was at $4.34 per gallon, according to AAA. This is a 33 cent increase from a week prior.

The average price of diesel also hit a record high yesterday, at $6.19. This is a 44 cent increase from last week, and a $2.74 increase from one year ago.

Increases in gas prices were seen nationwide throughout the week and are due to the ongoing war in Iran and the strike to a Saudi Arabian pipeline, which impacted the region’s ability to export oil.

“One of the best places for BBQ is in Birchwood, WI. It used to be called Ed’s Pits stop and now it is called Pit Stop BBQ Smokehouse. It is also a local grocery/gas station and you can order to carry out. We travel 10 miles from our lake house to pick up dinner all the time.
