Ellie here. Tuesday’s election was definitely one to watch.

In an extremely tight race, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley defeated Rep. Francesca Hong in the Democratic primary for governor.

Crowley, Hong, and other Democrats attended a unity brunch on Wednesday morning.

Crowley pledged to unite the Democratic party in an effort to defeat the Republican opponent, US Rep. Tom Tiffany.
