The 11th annual contest from the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce returns next week, with the first round of voting beginning Sept. 21. Products voted into the Top 16 will proceed to the bracket-styled, Manufacturing Madness.

“Many Wisconsinites are surprised to learn the things that are made right in their back yards by their neighbors,” Kurt Bauer, president and CEO of WMC, said in a news release. “Our manufacturers are incredibly innovative with the products they create, which are used all across the globe. We can take immense pride in Wisconsin manufacturing.”

Several Sheboygan County products were also among the first group of nominees in 2025: donuts from Sunday Dough Donuts; the bratwurst pasty from Sheboygan Pasty Company; no-salt bratwurst from Miesfeld’s Triangle Market; canned cocktail from Carbliss; and natural sliced American cheese from Sargento.

Carbliss and Sargento made it to Top 8 in the contest. Jolly Good Soda won the 2024 contest.
