We asked our readers for their favorite small businesses in Wisconsin, and here’s what they said.

Wisconsin has no shortage of mom-and-pop shops. According to the US Small Business Administration, there are nearly 500,000 small businesses across our state.

Whether you’re looking for a new book, handmade jewelry, or a delicious kringle, our readers have got you covered. Here are the small businesses you shouted out.

Bay City Cycles, Ashland

“They lead a bike ride every Monday night during the warmer months, both a faster 20 mile ride and a leisurely ride along the trails that follow the Lake Superior shore. During the winter months they host a monthly Monday night potluck at their shop that creates a face-to-face social gathering for cyclists.” — Pam D.
