Jason Rae has been politically active since joining the Barron County Democratic Party at age 17. Now he serves as secretary to the national party and to the Chicago convention. He said a group had been talking for months about ways to reimagine the ceremonial roll call of states that nominated Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
