DID YOU KNOW? Wisconsin ranks 13th among states that produce the most pumpkins. Our neighbors in Illinois grow the most–responsible for nearly 40% of America’s supply.

Whether they’re grown here or there, a plentiful supply of local pumpkins means plenty of slices of fresh-made pie. There’s something comforting about the taste and smell of a cinnamon-flecked, smooth, but not-too-sweet pumpkin pie this time of year.

Wisconsin is home to some of America’s best pie shops, and many specialize in pumpkin. Here are 10 of the best:
