Add to Bucket List: A trip to Kohler

ADD TO BUCKET LIST ✅ A trip to Kohler Waters — Wisconsin’s ONLY 5-star spa, run by the people who make your faucets 💦

Who better to get into the spa game than a company who’s been specializing in all-things water (they are the leader when it comes faucets, sinks, and bathtubs) for 150 YEARS?!

Kohler Waters Spa launched in 2000 with its flagship location at the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin — routinely ranked the #1 hotel in the Midwest!

Inside, there’s a relaxation pool with an eight-foot wall of water, hot and cold dip pools, steam rooms, saunas, and the big draw — water massages 💙

‘A Great Lake Deserves a Great State:’ Gov. proposes renaming Lake Michigan

“A GREAT LAKE DESERVES A GREAT STATE” 💙 And that’s why Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker dropped this video over the weekend proposing a NEW name for Lake Michigan — Lake Illinois 😆

But it’s his SECOND proposal that takes a direct shot at Wisconsin…

“Going off the idea that the United States will be purchasing Greenland to protect the homeland, Illinois will be annexing Green Bay — to protect against enemies foreign AND domestic,” Pritzker joked.

YOUR MOVE, GOV. EVERS 😉

Wisconsin Farmer Left With The Bill After Trump Funding Freeze

Aaron Pape’s family farm in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, is facing a $30,000 loss after the Trump administration reneged on contracts signed by farmers across the country, citing a need for government efficiency.

The “Conservation Contracts,” between the USDA and farms that committed to practices that preserved the future of the environment, are now on hold. Meanwhile, the money has already been spent, leaving family farms in limbo.

Pape, who did not vote for Trump, says they’re just trying to do good things while taking care of the environment.

Federal Funding Freeze Hits Dairy Apprenticeship Hard

Fourth generation Wisconsin dairy farmer Joe Tomandl launched the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship in 2010, hoping that mentorships could help bring in the next generation of farmers. It was a problem he saw everywhere—aging farmers with no one behind them to take up the reins.

Since then, the DGA has become the nation's first formal ag apprenticeship to be recognized by the US Department of Labor. Today, however, its 215 mentor farms in 16 states are in jeopardy of being shut down due to Trump's sweeping federal cuts.
