Video: Federal SNAP cuts take a bite out of rural students’ health in WI

That’s the number of children in Wisconsin who will be hurt by President Donald Trump’s cuts to SNAP.

Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” will burn students in rural areas by reducing access to school meals and increasing food insecurity.

A school superintendent in Sauk County says schools are vital for feeding kids in rural areas, but districts are already strained.
