Your weekly guide to Wisconsin political events, protests, advocacy opportunities, and ways to take action statewide–Friday, Feb. 13 through Thursday, Feb. 19

Want to get involved this week? You can attend ICE OUT! protests and response trainings, pro-democracy rallies, and community actions and workshops on key topics, including public education funding, protecting reproductive rights, and more. 

Here’s our weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Friday (Feb. 13 )

Chippewa Valley Indivisible: Weekly Overpass Visibility Brigade, (Eau Claire, 3-4 p.m.)
A weekly rally for Democracy. 

Indivisible: Voices in Solidarity, (Viroqua, 3-4 p.m.)
A rally to support folks who are experiencing the effects of ICE in their communities.

Indivisible: Stand Up For Our Country, (Montello, 3:30-4:30 p.m.)
A weekly rally in support of the country and community.

Indivisible Portage: Stand With Minnesota Weekly, (Portage, 4-5 p.m.)
A weekly rally to show support with Minnesota.

WisDems: Show Some Love DePere, (Green Bay, 5-6:30 p.m.)
An event to collect non-perishable items to restock the shelves at the local food pantry.

Brown County Indivisible: Rock the Vote: Punk Show + Election Power-Up, (Green Bay, 7-10 p.m.)
An election-focused live music event featuring Performances by Jupiter’s Ghost, Dead Ends, and Ditch The Hubcap.

Saturday (Feb. 14)

Indivisible: Sign Making, (Fond du Lac, 9-10 a.m.)
A community event to make signs for the special Valentine’s Day protest. 

Indivisible: ICE Out Now! Weekly! Rally, (Janesville, 10-11 a.m.)
A weekly rally protesting against ICE. 

Indivisible: Honk and Wave, (Fond du Lac, 10-11:30 a.m.)
A weekly rally protesting against ICE. 

Indivisible: Weekly Power to the People Protest, (Greenfield, 10-11:30 a.m.)
A weekly rally for Democracy. 

WisDems: Coffee & Conversations, (Oshkosh, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A community meeting to learn more about how you can get involved locally.

Indivisible: Stand Up!! Speak Out!, (Beaver Dam, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A rally against the Trump administration.

WisDems: Middleton Weekly Rally for Democracy, (Middleton, 12-1 p.m.)
A weekly rally for democracy. 

Indivisible: Love Shows Up: Valentine’s Day Protest for Justice, (New Richmond, 12-1 p.m.
A rally for democracy.

Indivisible: Protesting 101: Know Your Rights, (Milwaukee, 12-2 p.m.)
A training for new protesters to learn their rights when protesting.

Indivisible: We Love Democracy Rally, (Oshkosh, 12-3 p.m.)
A rally for democracy.

Indivisible: Feel the Love, (West Bend, 1-2 p.m.)
A rally to share what you love about the USA. 

Indivisible: For the LOVE of Democracy, (Waukesha, 1:30-2:30 p.m.)
A rally for democracy.

WisDems: Mt. Horeb Love Your Democracy Rally, (Mount Horeb, 2-3:30 p.m.)
A rally for democracy.

Indivisible: How Do We Defeat Van Orden?, (Black River Falls, 2:30-5 p.m.)
A strategy session with folks in the 3rd District to defeat Derek Van Orden.

Sunday (Feb. 15)

WisDems: No War, No ICE, No Kings Protest Weekly on Madison’s East Side, (Madison, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A weekly protest against the Trump Administration.

Wisconsin Public Education Network: Public Education Lecture-What’s Happening to Wisconsin’s Public Schools?, (Dodgeville, 4 p.m.)
An educational session with education experts, Julie Mead and Christopher Saldaña, on how Wisconsin funds its public schools and what it means for rural communities, co-sponsored by Merrimac & Main Center.

Monday (Feb. 16)

A weekly rally for democracy. 

Racine Resist: Racine Resists! Monday Corner Rally, (Mount Pleasant, 3-4 p.m.)
A weekly rally for democracy. 

Indivisible: Not My President Rally and Social Gathering, (Stoughton, 5:30-8:30 p.m.)
A rally against the Trump administration.

WisDems: Local Observer and ICE Watch Training, (Appleton, 6:30- 8 p.m.)
A training to prepare participants to observe and accurately document ICE-related events.

Tuesday (Feb. 17)

Spring Primary Election: Vote in the Spring Primary
Check your voter information, review voter deadlines, and see what’s on your ballot before the election. 

Gov. Tony Evers: State of the State Address
Gov. Evers will deliver his final State of the State address in the Assembly Chamber of the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison (7 p.m.). Check back for streaming options closer to the event.

WisDems: Data Center University: A Statewide Briefing, (Madison & Virtual, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
A statewide briefing on facts, context, and policy tools to navigate the expansion of data centers in Wisconsin.

Indivisible and Voces de la Frontera: Know Your Rights Training for Employers, (Fitchburg, 6:30-8 p.m.)
A training on I-9 requirements, rights in the workplace, and tools and examples to equip employers to make a plan for before, during, and after a visit by law enforcement.

Wednesday (Feb. 18)

Indivisible-Brown County: Veterans For Peace Weekly Pop-Up, (De Pere, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
A rally against the Trump administration. 

WisDems: Monthly Drinks with Democrats-Green Bay!, (Green Bay, 5-7 p.m.)
An all-generations progressive happy hour to connect and talk about 2026 election opportunities.

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin: Changing Hearts and Minds, (La Crosse, 5-7 P.M.)
A training on the Conversational Approach—how to talk about reproductive health care and advocacy

Fitchburg Progress: Drinks & Democracy, (Fitchburg, 6:30-8 p.m.)
A Presidents’ Day community gathering to connect and talk about 2026 election opportunities.

WisDems: Progressives of Janesville I <3 Democracy Social!, (Janesville, 6:30-8:30 p.m.)
A community gathering to connect with other Democrats in the Janesville area.

Wisconsin Public Education Network: It’s About the Kids-How to Focus Your Message on What Really Matters to Develop a Winning Referendum Campaign, (Virtual, 6:30-8 p.m.)
A workshop on running a successful referendum campaign to support public schools. 

Thursday (Feb. 19)

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin: Lunch and Learn-Abortion Rights in Wisconsin, (Virtual, 12:30-1:00 p.m.)
A discussion on abortion rights in Wisconsin, from the state’s current restrictions, to recent changes, and how to expand rights in the future. 

Waunakee Democrats: Weekly Rally for Democracy and Free Speech, (Waunakee 4-5 p.m.)
A weekly rally for democracy. 

Monroe County Democrats: Relax, Recharge, Resist, (Sparta 6-8 p.m.)
A weekly community gathering to relax, play games, and connect with like-minded community members. 

Middleton Democrats: Community Conversations, (Middleton, 7-8:30 p.m.)
A community conversation, presented by WayForward Resources, on the housing crisis, current programs, and ways to get involved.
