Do Good Wisconsin is bringing back its annual Cereal Box Domino Challenge for the fourth year, inviting students to turn cereal donations into a force for good.
Schools compete against other schools their size across the state to see which can collect the most cereal boxes, line them up like dominoes, and capture the creative way they fall. The schools then donate all the boxes to their local food pantries.
Since 2023, over 50,000 cereal boxes have been donated across Wisconsin as a result of the challenge.

Do Good Wisconsin explains in a Facebook post the significance of the challenge, saying it “teaches students the power of giving back, brings classrooms, staff, and families together, supports local food pantries right in your community, and shows how one small action, multiplied, can make a big impact.”
The challenge kicks off Feb. 2, and videos must be submitted by March 7, also known as National Cereal Day.
The school with the most cereal boxes collected as well as the school with the most unique video showing the domino challenge will each receive a trophy from Do Good Wisconsin.
Schools must sign up for the challenge using this Google form before Feb. 2. From there, schools ask students and families for cereal box donations and determine the day they plan to do the challenge.
“We hope this initiative drives fun and philanthropy with your students and staff and helps make an impact in your community!” Do Good Wisconsin said on their website.
