Fans can try brat eggrolls, summer sausage grilled cheese during upcoming Packers season at Lambeau Field

While Zac Ladubec, executive chef for Delaware North at Lambeau Field, and his team of professional chefs didn’t have a specific theme for this year’s new concession items, many of the options are combinations of classic Wisconsin foods and traditional stadium eats.

“We decided to go with less basic fried foods and more with taking what might seem like a normal item and tweaking it to make it new and interesting,” Ladubec said.

It’s the chef’s 11th season working at Lambeau Field, 1265 Lombardi Ave. in Green Bay, and he said he continues to try to incorporate good, fresh cooking at the stadium.

“People are willing to wait longer for their food if they’re watching it be made in front of them,” Ladubec said. “I always thought football was brats and cheese curds, so it’s nice to be able to show people the high-end side of it.”

Alongside the new menu items are the Tyson Cheesy Nuggets, football-shaped, cheese-infused chicken nuggets, branded the “official protein of the Green Bay Packers.”

This comes after the Green Bay Packers and Tyson Foods announced their official partnership. Ladubec said the stadium has always used Tyson chicken tenders, but the chicken wings are now Tyson as well.

“It’s fun to be working with these big companies and have them come in and ask us what we want to do,” Ladubec said.

The Tyson Cheesy Nuggets will be available to purchase at Lambeau and a select number of regional grocery stores.

Ladubec said he believes the brat eggrolls and summer sausage grilled cheese will be among some of the fans’ favorites.

The Packers’ home opener is at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 7 against the Detroit Lions. Here are all the new concession foods fans can expect to find:

Loaded Big Pretzel — Bavarian big pretzel, sharp cheddar cheese sauce, crumbled brats, fried sauerkraut, beer cheese mustard sauce and beer mustard, $19.99, available at Johnsonville Tailgate Village

Bratcho — Tator tots, Southwest brat coins, corn pico, beer cheese, sour cream, guacamole and green onions, $11.99, available in sections 134 and 340

Green and Gold BBQ Chicken — Fried chicken, housemade pickles and coleslaw on a King’s Hawaiian Roll, $13.99, available in sections 105, 133 and 742 (inner)

BBQ Pull Apart — King’s Hawaiian Rolls, barbecue pulled pork and sweet and spicy pickles, $20, available for in-seat ordering in the club levels only

Tenderloin Sandwich — Roasted beef tenderloin, bourbon-brown sugar onions, roasted mushrooms and an A-1 aioli on a corn-dusted Kaiser roll, $25.99, available in the club level at P688

Brat with Sauerkraut Slaw — Bratwurst, sauerkraut slaw, Swiss sauce and a garlic-herb crema, $11.99, available in Club section at 472

Summer Sausage Grilled Cheese — Sourdough, Havarti, summer sausage and a garlic-herb crema, $14.99, available in sections 124 (outer), 326 and 472
