5 must-try foods from the Wisconsin Products Pavilion at the 2024 State Fair

If you’ve never been inside the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, you’re missing out – not only on air conditioning (which really hits different on a fair day), but amazing food! As its name suggests, everything sold inside the tent is grown and made in the Badger State.

Here are our five absolute favorites (and where they’re sold):

😋 Bison Frontier Quiche

Wisconsin Bison Producers Association

A buttery-crusted, custardy quiche dotted with bison bits. The booth also sells a fresh tomato-cucumber salad with real buffalo milk mozzarella!

😋 Cherry Ice Cream Sundae

Future Farmers of America

Cedar Crest vanilla ice cream drowning in sweet, yet tart, Door County cherries. Strawberry, chocolate, and real maple syrup sundaes are also available.

😋 Cranberry Cannoli

Wisconsin Cranberry Growers Association

You can’t go wrong with any of the Cranberry Growers’ pastries, but the cannoli are extra special, with cranberry cream filling piped into a chewy oatmeal cookie shell, dipped in dark chocolate.

😋 Grilled Cheese

Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Fund

Nothing beats fresh Wisconsin cheese, melted between two slices of freshly-buttered bread. At less than $5, it’s also one of the fair’s best deals!

😋 Sausage Sampler On-A-Stick

Usinger’s

Even the Wisconsin tent isn’t spared from “on-a-stick” mania! This is a great way to sample a variety of sausages, rather than going all-in on just one. And, it’s served with yellow or spicy brown mustard for dunking.
