After Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica on Oct. 28, Door County Candle Company launched its Jamaican Relief Candle, where 100% of the profits will go toward relief efforts.
Door County Candle Company considers itself more than just a candle company, with a portion of every purchase from the company being donated back to a charity.
The company gained national recognition for its Ukraine Candle, where it raised over $1.6 million to help those impacted by the war in Ukraine.
They have released various other relief candles, including one to help those impacted by the Texas floods, as well as a candle to support those impacted by the Maui wildfires.
The Jamaican Relief Candle features tropical passionfruit and liliko’i scent, and is available in 16-ounce or five-ounce sizes.
In 2024, Door County Candle Company donated over $39,000 to various organizations, including the American Red Cross, Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin, Family Services of Northeast WI, Inc. Sexual Assault Center, and more.
Door County Candle Company aims to make a difference through “Candles Creating Change,” the company’s philanthropic mission.
