David Crowley will put serious restrictions on ICE in Wisconsin if elected governor

Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley laid out his proposed restrictions on ICE operations in Wisconsin during a WISN 12 debate against Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany. Crowley called for ending contracts between ICE and local law enforcement agencies, requiring federal immigration agents to show identification rather than wear masks, and preventing ICE from entering local jails and prisons without a judicial warrant. Crowley is running against Tiffany in Wisconsin’s 2026 gubernatorial election.
