Democrats in southwest Wisconsin are hoping they can flip a state Assembly seat this fall with a candidate who has racked up years of service in lots of areas: law enforcement, warden, firefighter, and more. Ben Gruber is challenging incumbent Republican Rep. Todd Novak, and Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer says voters will really feel a connection with Gruber.
