After strong storms on June 10, Beaver Dam’s Culver’s barn was destroyed. The iconic blue barn was already damaged in April after a tornado touched down in the area. Recent storms struck the final blow to the Wisconsin landmark.

As child care costs continue to rise, Sen. Tammy Baldwin proposed shifting $14.27 billion from a Trump-backed immigration enforcement package to child care assistance. Senate Republicans rejected the amendment before approving a bill that sends tens of billions of dollars to ICE and Border Patrol.
