Les Danielson is a fourth-generation farmer in western Wisconsin. For him and others like him, who provide the vital role in the state’s economy, the job is demanding.

He appreciates that Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin led efforts to get mental health resources for farmers, in contrast to Republican challenger Eric Hovde saying a farmer is now only “largely driving around on a tractor.”

He also likes that Baldwin helped deliver grants for farmers to invest in renewable energy.
