The nonprofit Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB) was founded by local Hayward fishing guide Bobby Cammack after breaking his leg in 1986.
He came to recognize the need for accessibility for disabled anglers in the fishing industry and created the organization to make fishing more inclusive.
After two years of planning and research, the first FHNB event was held in 1988 on the Chippewa Flowage, with 75 participants from seven states.

Lately, it seems as if the cost of nearly everything is going up, including the price of rent. Thankfully, though, Wisconsinites have some of the most affordable rental prices in the country, and there are plenty of places across the state available for $1,000 or less.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary before taxes in Wisconsin is $61,690 per year, totaling approximately $5,140 per month, leaving them some extra money to have fun in the Badger State.

Rep. Francesca Hong, one of seven major Democratic candidates for governor, wants Wisconsin to join other states in a new tactic aimed at reducing the billions of dollars in corporate cash gushing into political campaigns: Change the definition of a corporation.
Hong’s “What Democracy Looks Like” plan, released Friday, is the latest in a series of pledges and promises by candidates who say they want to restore the power of voters and candidates who are now lavishly outspent by outside groups, many funded with corporation donations.
