WHY ISN’T CONVERSION THERAPY BANNED? – The practice of trying to “convert” an LGBTQ person through questionable methods is so outside the bounds of accepted science that some states are banning the practice. That should’ve been the case in Wisconsin by now, but a small committee in the Republican-controlled Legislature is claiming the power to indefinitely block any ban on conversion therapy. Gov. Tony Evers is asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to step in.
