For sports fans, vacations offer more than just relaxation. Many cities prioritize catering to sports enthusiasts with various sports-related activities. But how do Wisconsin’s top cities rank among the most sports-centric? Thrillist used Yelp data to determine the best U.S. cities for sports-centric vacations.

🏈 Green Bay is the 8th best city for sports fan vacations–ranking 1st for sports bars, 5th for sporting goods stores, and 8th for sportswear stores. However, it’s important to note that when the cities were adjusted for size Green Bay jumped to 1st in the overall rankings!

⚾️ Milwaukee is the 35th-best, ranking 2nd for sports bars (only behind Green Bay!) The Bucks were a big boost to Milwaukee’s ranking, with the 4th best traveling fan base in the NBA, attending an average of three away games per season and traveling 140.4 miles per game.
