This week, she’s interviewing her elementary school principal, Mr. Ben Dallman to find out what it’s like leading about 250 kindergarten-through-fifth graders at Roosevelt Elementary School in Eau Claire.

And Jay Bhattacharya, Trump’s pick to be director of the National Institutes of Health, said COVID’s risks were overstated and called for a weakening of safety protocols in a pandemic that would go on to take the lives of more than 1 million Americans.

Wisconsin Crowd Cheers to Bernie’s “Health Care is a Human Right”

BERNIE’S MESSAGE 📣 “Instead of a government of the people, by the people and for the people, we have now become a government of the billionaire class, for the billionaire class.”

That’s what Sen. Bernie Sanders told crowds in Wisconsin. Sanders is bringing his Fighting Oligarchy tour to key battleground states across the country, also rallying for expanded Social Security, Medicare, and free healthcare.

The packed crowd of 2,600 in Altoona last Saturday cheered and stood when Sanders said the US should guarantee healthcare to all people as a right.

All three finalists for the Patty Kaz Award are from the same school

THIS IS A REALLY BIG DEAL‼️ For just the second-time EVER — all THREE finalists for the Patty Kaz Award (the highest honor in college women’s hockey) are from the SAME school ❤️

The only other time that happened — all 3 finalists were from Minnesota (2013)!

Every year, the NCAA presents the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award to the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey.

Selection criteria includes outstanding individual and team skills, sportsmanship, performance in the clutch, personal character, competitiveness, academic achievement, civic involvement, and a love of hockey.

This year’s winner will be announced March 22!
